OK then.  Righty O. Let's get this blog thing off and running. 

First, you don't know me and I don't know you.  Let's not pretend otherwise... 

I'm just kidding.  We can be friends.  Just don't be down on me for the things I like and I won't go judging you.  Too much, anyway. 

I'm really enjoying this years basketball playoffs.  And not just because I'm a Laker fan.  I mean, c'mon, did you see game 7 between the Cleveland and Boston. Wow!  Now that's playoff basketball.   I can only imagine what it will be like when the Pistons hit Bean Town.  And, of course, tonight is game 7 between the Spurs and Hornets.  That should be another good one.
Can anyone remember a postseason where home court really meant it?  I mean look at Boston, I actually had them sweeping at least the first round.  Now they're what, 8-0 at home and 0-6 on the road...  Really?  The best team of the season, 0-6 on the road in the post season.  Really? 

Anyway, I can't wait for Football season.  I won't be fully into baseball until after basketball.  It just doesn't work for me.  Once the NBA has crowned a champion, then I can let my emotions fall to baseball.  But, really, it's still just a way to pass the time until football and, well, fantasy football. 

So, I guess I'll end this with something uplifting and motivational.
